Because this is a good idea, I am totally stealing it. I am going to clean list on Wednesday. Please comment if you would like to remain.
Please don't feel that if I remove you from my list it means I don't like you. It is merely a matter of having time to read, and knowing that those on my list want to read me.
I know I haven't posted much lately, but I plan to get back to my chatty self. But I'd like to be sharing my thoughts with those who want to be reading them. So here's your opportunity to make a run for the hills if you'd like :)
Thank you for sharing the LJ space with me.

Information
Unhappiness in relationships, according to Dr. Gary Chapman, is often due to the fact that we speak different love languages. Sometimes we don't understand our partner's requirements, or even our own. We all have a "love tank" that needs to be filled in order for us to express love to others, but there are different means by which our tank can be filled, and there are different ways that we can express love to others.Take the quiz

You can take three plastic water bottles to a Disney Store tomorrow and get a pretty darn cool reusable bag. Here's a link with some more info :)
If anyone wants to snag one for me too that would be the awesomest since I don't have a Disney store nearby :(

Jake came home from school pretty melancholy today. One of his classmates told him today that Doctor Who isn't real. :( It really made him feel terrible. This lead to him saying that everyone in his class is smarter than he is. :( :( Which was followed up by him telling us that he doesn't have any friends. :( :( :(

um. Yikes?
So I just had a police officer ask me to shut my back door. They were just checking to make sure everything was okay. I check out front, there are no less than FOUR police cars and 10 officers in front of my apartment. And a guy in cuffs.

It is never a good thing when you kids are making "snow"
Especially when you discover that the "snow" is tiny little pieces from a piece of packing styrofoam....
...grumble...

Brian: (matter of factly) I'm thinking about becoming a Presbyterian.
Me: (puzzled) why??

This little guy was posing for pictures on our porch yesterday afternoon.
And these two are spending Spring Break with us...
( Our Fine Feathered Friends )

Oh holy beignets.
Hallowed by thy name...
nom nom nom nom....
And let's not talking about the cafe au lait because I will cry since I don't have one right now. Best freakin' coffee ever. I think I could pretty easily mainline that stuff.
( I cut because I care. But I am telling you, there are some damn fine pictures back here. )
More pictures to come, because that's how I roll....
This hotel is swanktackular. Swankarific. Swanktastic. Really effing swanky. Hotel Monteleone ain't no HOJO!
We haven't had a chance to do much exploring yet but today we are heading over to Cafe du Monde in the French Market for beignets this morning. Later, the kids and I will head over to the Aquarium. Last night we had dinner at Deanie's...oh my tasty tasty goodness.

We are one street over from Bourbon Street

It's tempting to want to check it out but I am 100% positive it's not kid friendly. LOL!
